This Educational Construction series assembly kit aims to help everyone enjoy the fun and informative world of building. The Cam-Program robot is ready to follow your commands just insert the individual cam pieces into the program bar down the center, and by doing so, program how it is moved by the two gearboxes.

Two motor-powered gearboxes are included in the kit, one to drive each track for powerful motion.
Can be assembled in 2 different setups: one with default movement in a straight line, and the other with default movement of an on-the-spot pivot. The effect of the cams differs depending upon which setup you assemble it in.

The manual includes game ideas and other challenges using the model.
Requires one AA battery.
Compatible with existing Educational Construction series components such as universal arms, plates, wheels and so on.
Features space for the installation of microcomputers, opening up a world of new possibilities.

[Let’s program movement using a cam!?]
This is an assembly kit for robot work that can be programmed using a freely settable cam.?Set the power gearbox equipped with two motors under the main unit, proceed with a triangular crawler (crawler track), and move the left and right arms.?Set the program bar with the cam inserted in the center of the robot.?By moving the bar with the program bar gear case, the cam arrangement is read mechanically, the steering leg under the vehicle is pushed down, and the movement is changed by lifting the crawler.?A single program bar can control about 35 seconds, and can be connected to extend the control time.?All necessary parts are set and completed only by screwing and fitting.

[Basic movement is 2 types]
The mechanism of movement is that the cam pushes down the steering leg attached under the main body and lifts the crawler to change the movement.?There are two basic movement patterns.?The A type moves forward without a cam, turns when there is a cam on one side (turns left when there is a cam on the left), and stops when there is a cam on both sides.?The B type turns to the left without a cam, moves forward and backward when there is a cam on one side (forward when there is a cam on the left, reverse when there is a cam on the right), and stops when there is a cam on both sides .?The change of the pattern can be done by changing the wiring of the motor and the boot parts of the steering leg.?Also, you can prepare three kinds of cams and change the time to push down the leg.?Furthermore, a gear box can be added by attaching a universal plate, and the movement can be controlled by mounting a commercially available microcomputer board or board.
