With the Worm Gear Box, High Efficiency, it is possible to have high power or high speed with two different gear ratios. Several crank arms have been supplied along with a RE-260 motor. This gear box works well in a variety of Tamiya Construction or Robotics projects. Gear Ratios: 216:1 336:1. Operates on 3 to 4.5 volts. Requires two or three AA batteries (sold separately).

[Ideal for work that requires large torque and slow rotation] This
is a gear box assembly kit that provides a large gear ratio in a compact size. A worm gear is used that transmits power from the motor, but does not transmit power from the power side attached to the tires. With a gear ratio of 336:1, it will complete one revolution in about 2 seconds when using 3V specifications using two batteries. The case body is made of ABS resin, and the gear is made of polyacetal resin with low frictional resistance. It has high precision and produces smooth and reliable movements. Also included are three types of plastic arms: I-shaped, cross-shaped, and circular. You can also use the RE-140 motor with the included adapter.
