The name SPOX comes from the shape of the terminal, which is like a “spring box”. This design style provides multiple points of contact, protects the mating interface area, and prevents fish-hooking from wires during handling. SPOX BMI connectors offer self-aligning features, a current rating up to 3.0 A and a pitch size of 2.54 mm (0.100″). This is one of the smallest blind-mate packages available for wire-to-wire and wire-to-board applications
